Job Description

We’re looking for a Cloud Sysadmin to help manage the IT needs of our growing organization. We need a problem-solver, who loves to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve system-related issues for our geographically dispersed staff and the customers of our cloud platform.
You’ll be working closely with our Security, Dev Ops, and Operations teams to ensure that we’re managing access and security following best practice procedures to keep things running smoothly.

Your responsibilities are to:

  • Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues using internal knowledge base and external sources
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  • Accurately track issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits, and contribute to the development of processes and systems to improve the management of this process
  • Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until they’ve solved a technical issue
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
  • Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
  • Regularly follow up with staff and/or customers during the problem-solving process to ensure everyone is informed of the latest status and progress and follow up post solution to ensure everything is working as expected.
  • Share your knowledge by documenting solutions in the form of notes and how-to guides

The requirements/skills to be successful are:

  • Proven experience in a technical support engineer, IT help desk technician or similar role
  • A passion for solving problems and keeping your customers happy (internal and external) with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS environments, experience with Linux would be an additional benefit but not a requirement
  • Experience with Azure AD, O365, SSO setups and other access management options in Azure, AWS and GCP.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software (such as Zendesk) would be beneficial
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help remotely in a clear and concise manner
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, AWS, GCP or similar technologies would be a plus.

  • AWS Fundamentals


The role will be located in UK or Spain. The role will be remote working initially with offices to be set up as the Covid19 situation settles.
